Pound it!
After watching Obama’s victory (finally) speech last night, I am officially declaring the “pound it” the new presidential spouse embrace. I can’t imagine anything more endearing — or more appropriate — than this:
The days of Al Gore and Tipper make-out sessions and slobbery kisses are over. Also, imagine Obama serving one to Ahmadinejad and then pounding it with Michelle or his National Security Adviser. Awesome. Just Awesome.
* Older candidates like McCain should adopt a less edgy gesture — like attempting a solid high-five, for instance.
