This image reminds me of the cover art for Washed Out’s first album, which of course makes me think of their music, which then brings to mind those “endless summer” poster ubiquitous in college dorm rooms across America. That in turn makes me think of freshman year in college and of the lake and water-skiing, so in the end it just moves me from one body of water to another. From Sea to Lake, Ocean to Pond.
